More from hefkervelt
Murphy Delayed in tracking Lakewood because Rosh Hashana: Asked about his mention of upticks in Ocean and Monmouth counties at his press conference he mentioned a house party in Monmouth county. Health commissioner said Lakewood has a general increase in cases but they can't identify a specific cause. They are delayed in tracking because of the religious holiday of Rosh Hashana but they deployed contact tracers to Lakewood.

I have been saying on every thread about williamsburg, I haven't had it, and neither have my parents and most of my siblings.

Wishful thinking doesn't reality make.

We lost so many. Clearly it wasn't enough to scare us into doing hishtadlus.

The vast majority of williamsburg was hit really hard in March and April. I still stand by that. It's the truth.

And it's also true that there are some new cases now as well.

HaShem should watch over us all! I'm pretty worried!

In monsey...my kid's nursery class is closed now because a child tested positive (on the regular 3 day, not just rapid).
My neighbor also just told me her teen daughter tested positive.

The largest upticks are in Williamsburg, Boro Park, Midwood, Flatbush and Far Rockaway. NY State will be sending additional help to those areas.

Monsey is FULL of it all over the place. Almost everyone in Monsey knows at least one person that has it.
Many schools have kids / teachers, either with symptoms or confirmed cases.

One shul in monsey made a special tent on Rosh Hashanah for confirmed covid congregants and about half the shul was in the tent.
