What healthy suggestions can you give me?
Working... need to walk to work (20 min) so nothing too heavy and cumbersome
Also don’t want to have to wash, so no bread.

Can you give me some ideas?

I need to remember to do this. I always say I'm going to, and then I forget.

Please don't bring hard boiled eggs/egg salad or tuna if you eat in a shared space.
My coworker does, the smell is strong, and it just isn't fair.

My go to's are:
-Stirfry (Chicken, tofu, beef)
-salads (chicken, tuna, deli)

I'll prep one time in the beginning of the week and make 3 or 4 containers worth. The other days I'll bring leftover dinner or crackers and PB.

Meal prep on Sunday by making a big batch of quinoa/rice, veggies, and a protein. E.g. quinoa, broccoli, and salmon fillet; rice, sauteed mushrooms and peppers, and grilled chicken breast; rice, wilted spinach, roasted tofu cubes in sauce. You can change it up with brown or wild rice or another grain like farro.

Other ideas: mezonos bread sandwiches or wraps with cheese/mustard/pickles; sliced deli/lettuce/ketchup; lettuce/tomato/avocado.

We discovered Starkist tuna creations on Amazon. It comes in different varieties, with an OU (but always check the picture). Super convenient to carry, doesn’t need to be refrigerated, and comes out to less than a dollar each. I keep them on hand for those times when I don’t have a chance to prepare something in advance.

I put aside the part for lunch before I serve the supper. That way it didn't get eaten accidentally.

Fyi, check with your rav- many hold that there is no such thing as mezonos bread if it is your meal and you are using it just like bread- you would need to wash and say hamotzi anyway.

OP, I usually do yogurts and mix ins, and fruit. Also, do you have fridge access at work? If so, are you allowed to leave anything in it?

Smart! I just need to remember to make enough food that there will be enough to set aside!

My kids are little so I don't make a ton of food for dinner.

I bought a leak-proof box, with 3 compartments (1/2, 1/4, 1/4). (I actually have 2 trays, one parve, one fleishig)
The box is rectangular for easy transport (not round), plastic (so it can't break) and microwave-resistent. Sometimes I also take several rectangular tupper-style boxes. (one for breakfast with muesli, one for salad, one for protein)

I try to fill 1/2 with veggies or salad (mix 4 veggies (tomato, cucumber, bell peppers, chicoree, sprouts, lettuce, romane lettuce, onion, mushrooms, fennel, baked eggplant)
1/4 with a protein (chicken breast, schnitzel, hard boiled egg, tuna patties, smoked salmon, white fish, chumus)
1/4 with a carb (quinoa works really well, rice, noodles or noodle salad).

If you cannot heat up your meal, it's preferable to have salad-style, with dressing with vineager.
If you have access to a microwave: fill the salad in a different tray, don't put vinegar or mayo sauces in the tray you heat up

In winter, I like leftover tchulent (either to warm up in microwave or I take it in a little thermo)
or lentils with sausage
or leftover chicken wings/thigh and rice and red cabbage
mac and cheese also works well if you can keep it warm or heat it up.

Google "bento" and you will find loads of inspiration for appetizing, healthy cold meals...
And "bento box" for appropriate containers...

I always carry my lunch in an extra bag, stylish small paper bag where ist can stand..

- Sabra mini Guacamoles with melba toast
- A can of baby corn, peas, hearts of palm or any other vegetable, that doesn't require a can opener
- Oatmeal packet. Add a piece of chocolate and mix in until melted!
- If you have a kosher microwave at your office, you can bring in 4tbsp of farina in a ziploc bag and add a cup of water at the office. Put in a plate, microwave for a minute, mix, then microwave for another minute and mix again. I like adding a mixture of cocoa powder and sugar to the top. So good!!
