I have SO MUCH clothes to give away.
Many of them current styles but my kids won’t wear anymore because of size.
Some very old fashioned but good condition.

I don’t have anybody to hand down to.
Should I feel guilty chucking everything?

Why do all of you do?

Pick purple is closed since Covid.

Can I just drop off so many bags at these drop offs?

I can’t post them here. No time to go thru every piece

Where do you live?
Monsey has Kupas Ezra.
Lakewoos has Serendipity.
I'm sure other communities have something similar.

Clothes are clothes. If they are in good condition. It shouldn't matter the style. They will help you.

If not veterans, there's always salvation army or something.

Personally, I would rather donate good condition clothes to a company that will resale. Like a thrift store and not one who will turn it into rags.

when people say post they don't mean go through every item- people where I live will put out a bag and say girls clothing size 2-12 free to whomever wants. please take all. and if someone wants they will go through it. I've gone through the clothing with friends. meaning our kids are different sizes so lets say I take the 2 and 6 and 1 give her the 4 8 and 12.... even my 12 year old LOVES hand me downs. B"H we are fine financially but there's just something easier sometimes about going through a bag and getting rid of what we don't want then buying and having to deal with returning...

Goodwill, local thrift store, freecycle, don't know what community you're in but around here people arrange a shipment to a gemach in Israel every year or so (styles seem to be delayed there so something that is out of fashion here could make someone there VERY happy)

Really yes I would feel guilty tossing something that is in good condition. If it's worn looking then maybe more justification for not being worth the effort of rehoming.

Not OP but same issue. How do I reach kupas Ezra? They take everything?

I ask around my immediate family who have kids that wear the sizes I have to give away. And if no customer, I drop off at kupas ezra-Monsey.

Where is that? You already helped me with kings stationary, now you can help me again Smile . And any special rules? All sizes, genders? Linen and towels too, or only clothes?
