I love my Britax b-ready 2015, I have had it for almost 5 years now--through now 3 kids and my bottom seat is from a previous model and I've had for 8 years. The problem is the canopy velcro is shot and I can't open the canopy without it detaching from the velcro. the rest of the stroller is in functional shape (the basket is starting to tear). I have an infant at the moment and a bunch of kids and I still need a double. I don't know how I would replace the velcro--its not easily removable, is there a way to rejuvinate the velcro? I dont see us buying another $400 stroller any time soon and Britax's website only has replacements for the 2017 model.

Can you sew new velcro over the old? Glue new velcro over it?

What about buying a second hand B-ready and replacing the worn parts? I had one britax stroller and the seat broke, and I bought another one on ebay and just used the parts I needed.
