Enlarging wig cap by adding ear tabs?

My wig doesn't cover my hair properly on the sides near my ears. I brought my wig to someone who is supposedly very experienced and she is saying that she can add another ear tab on each side.

Has anyone had this done and is this a standard way to address the problem? Is there anything I should ask or check before going ahead?

Sorry, I never heard of this before so I can't advise you. It doesn't mean it doesn't exist, just that I didn't hear of this.
Will she stand behind her work if it doesn't do the job for you?

Thanks ShishKabob. She is saying that she can remove it if I don't like it, or keep adjusting it until I'm happy- does that mean she stands behind her work?

If anyone has had this done, please chime in!
