I can't eat by my parents on Rosh Hashona as we would have, so I thought to send them in a cute platter of simanim. It can be joke simanim, like 'lettuce have a raisin salary' or just cute alternatives to the real simanim, like sweet shaped fish etc.
Anyone have any good ideas of some less usual ones?

How about an elegant basket with all the shivas haminim including cooked barley and breadsticks or challah for wheat?
