Anyone know how to deal with a fridge that is against a wall? I'm concerned because the fridge door will not open all the way and the fridge door handle bumps into the wall. Do you put padding on the fridge door handle? A bumper an the wall? How does one manage without scratching the wall? How annoying will it be not being able to open up the fridge door all the way? Or is it something you get used to??
Thanks

Is it right against the side wall? There is usually some empty space or a cabinet, often a narrow broom closet, beyond the fridge on the hinge side.
A plastic bumper like this https://www.amazon.com/Door-St.....;th=1
will protect the wall. Reversing the door swing can also work if there is a doorway on the wall side you can step into, but is inconvenient because then the door opens the wrong way. Pushing the fridge forward is also possible if there is a doorway there.
Yes, it's annoying and can keep you from opening the produce drawer on the hinge side. In general, positioning the fridge right up against a side wall is considered a design error.
