Tuition in schools out of the tri state area are usually more expensive. Are there other reasons you are looking to move?
Tuition where I live is about 15,000 for elementary school.

Yes, that’s why I said it’s ONE of the reasons. If the general cost of living is less, then we will see if other things will fall into place. However, if it’s not, then it won’t be an option for us.

But I’m guessing the higher price tag includes a good English education. With computers, science, gym... my kids school has nothing. Most boys high schools have no English at all.

So as saw50sts said earlier you really have to see what you are getting.

London,England- between £700-£1200 for primary school age kids per term. So multiply by 3 for the year.

Not yet up to grammar school so get back to me in a few years. Wink definitely a fair bit more though. But depends whether state aided or not.

Lakewood girls elementary school is around $5,000 per year
Boys elementary- $7,000 per year
Boys high school- $11,000 per year
There are additional fees like bussing, building fee, dinner fee..
One of my kids needs a tutor which costs close to $4,000 a year

We are probably paying close to $33,000 a year for our children’s education. This is for 4 kids.

We are paying on the lower end for tuition (aside for Israel!). I heard that there are some states that give vouchers for tuition for private schools. You can look into that option, op.

Cincinnati.

The below amounts include fees and also $5,500 in aftercare fees to keep my younger children until 4pm, when the elementary gets out. Without aftercare, preschool finishes at 12:45 p.m. and kindergarten finishes at 2:30 p.m.

Preschool - $8,950
Kindergarten - $10,550
Lower Elementary - $11,350

We get a voucher of $4,650 for every child in K and up.

I am finally done with those years. It paled in comparison to my one child's private college tuition (over $40K/year before dorm and meal plan) and fortunately makes my others' state tutions ($15K before dorm) look like a bargain.

A few years ago, high school was $20K/year.

As with all things, I imagine it has increased.

4 kids grades K-4th grade: $60,000
Thank gd, we pay full tuition. Once the kids are in 8th-12th grade we anticipate paying closer to $100,000 a year.
