Yes! Anytime. Only if I’m not fleishig. Can’t bring myself to taste substitutes

I always marvel at characters in books, etc. who drink coffee at night. Then sleep like rocks.

Sometimes decaf. Occasionally regular -- I can still sleep.

4pm is my final cutoff (though I'm best off not drinking after 2pm).

That's me. Coffee has no effect. I can drink it and sleep like a log a short while later.
I drink it because I enjoy the taste.

I am a coffee drinker, but I try to switch to black tea after 5 or 6 pm. Except for Shabbos afternoon and motzi Shabbos, when I drink coffee later.

In my younger years I drank coffee around the clock without issues. Now I have to stop 2-ish.

I drink a 16oz cup of coffee every morning, on rare occasions more than 1, whatever time. I found it to be, only if I'm tired won't a afternoon or night coffee effect my sleeping.

It took me time to figure out why I have a hard time falling asleep shabs aftrn or have a real interrupted nap by waking few times. I stopped drinking coffee shabs morning and all is good bh.

I'm a real, live human being and drink coffee at night. I have no problem sleeping. In fact, when I was a SAHM, I used to drink 2 coffees in the morning and then go back for a nap.

That sounds like an actual addiction, which needs to be treated.

I drink it because I enjoy the taste.

I know someone who used to be like that, but she claims that with age it changed, and that she now needs to be aware of when she drinks her caffeine.

So art does imitate life. Who knew ;-D
To all you nighttime coffee drinkers, I'm sure I have comparable superpowers. I can't think of them at the moment though.

I had a coffee after 6 pm tonight, before I had my fleishig supper. I still had to serve supper and get the kids to bed, and I was falling on my face. I will have no trouble going to sleep later.

I don’t think I would drink a coffee within an hour or two of going to sleep.

No, ma’am!
Coffee tastes like burnt dirt. And the only thing worse than burnt dirt is HOT burnt dirt. Bleh.

Nope. As I say, I’m a recreational coffee drinker, not a functional one.

AKA I like the flavor of coffee when sweetened — like the occasional latte or iced coffee with sweet syrups — but I have never had to drink coffee in order to function. I would never subject myself to a completely avoidable caffeine addiction.
