Uniform I wash in a separate load and on a delicate cycle. Hang to dry. Not sure if that's the trick or the fabric is just amazing. It's a plaid, never have to iron.

If it were really dirty and have stains on, it might not be the best to use this method. If it's just to freshen up after a few days of wearing, it works just fine.
Elaboration:
Roll the skirt or fold it a couple of times, lengthwise, and slither into a long stocking. Tie a knot at the end of the stocking. Place in the washing machine.

Just FYI everyone who got new uniforms this year has same issue. Seems this year’s fabric is major JUNK. Most years the skirts wash beautiful
