I really need to go to a nearby store to buy a few things, but Im nervous to take my 2 month old with me.
I could technically manage without going (sending husband later ,but he ends work late).
Is it safe to take a baby into stores?
Would you do it?

I would take her, but I am pretty relaxed about corona.

I absolutely would not take a baby that young inside a store right now. And I’m sympathetic because I have an older baby (toddler, really) that I don’t take inside anywhere and trying to get things done around that schedule is a huge pain.
As you can see, different people have different amounts of comfort with risk, so you need to find what works for you.

Way pre-Corona, DD's pediatrician strongly suggested that I don't take her out in public until she was at least 3 months old, and had several rounds of vaccines in her.
If you don't vax, for SURE don't take your baby! There's pertussis, flu, colds, and all kinds of nasty germs and viruses out there. Covid is only one of them.
If it's an emergency and you absolutely have to bring the baby, use a baby wrap carrier, and keep her close to your body. If she's used to being under a nursing poncho, that's even better. Being out in an open stroller offers much less protection.

Bring your baby along and lay a thin cotton blanket over the hood of the stroller, like a canopy

Eh, the younger the baby the easier it is to just keep them in a stroller with a canopy and plastic rain cover.
