I like Hamilton Beach because its a simple, basic workhorse that doesn't overcook things.
If you want it overcooked, try Crockpot (yes, its a brand).

I like my magic Mill because it's nonstick and the glass cover is flat so I can keep the soup warm on top of the cholent.

We tried the Crock-Pot company and hated it. We dumped it after 2-3 weeks of using it thats how bad it was.

Same! Crock pot burns the food..hamilton beach is perfect.

The high setting burned the food and the low setting didn't cook it well enough.
