Why does someone think it is necessary to generate a generic Rosh Hashanah greeting email and send it to me and the hundreds (or thousands) of other former or current customers? Or clients. Or whatever? Why, for example, from the camp my kid went to 6 years ago?
What is the point? We know good and well that it is generic. What purpose does it serve aside from very weak (and annoying) advertisement? Shouldn't a business strive not to annoy customers and former customers?

Why does it annoy you? Most places you can click on unsubscribe and if not, you can let them know to take you off the emailing list.
