Funny I see my younger teenage siblings do this to my parents. We got stuck by my parents for a few months because of Covid-19, along with all my siblings (we all came home for a few days for a bar mitzva and then borders, schools and yeshivos closed). My younger siblings tried to rearrange the whole house, supper menu, schedule, etc. My parents rejected some parts and welcomed others. It was a nice time but lots of nerves from all the caged in teenagers. Before we left we bought my parents a nice gift. Hopefully that helped a little.
