I feel bad for posting this after OP said it makes her feel inadequate but if it's not for you please just skip past this.
Can anyone share their pictures? I'd love some inspiration. If I can set up something nice for my mother it would make her so happy!

Is no one going to post because this forum doesn't do anonymous?

It might be an issue because lets say someone already posted on instagram, and then to post under her screen name would give away her real life identity.

You could maybe flag your own OP and ask the mod to switch to a forum that's anonymous enabled. Not sure of where, though.

I don’t have a picture because I did it on yom tov and I didn’t even know it was a thing, but I made individual siman plates. I got nice plates and small cups. I put bite size pieces of all the simanim with a tiny bit of honey in the cup and a stick (coffee stirrer) in it. The reason I did it was because there were b’h so many people, it was a lot easier, but it looked really nice. During the day, I gave everyone their own cup of honey again, so there would be less of a mess passing the challah. B’h, it worked out beautifully!

Love this idea! DH is a very neat person and it drives him a little nuts when we go to someone's house for a meal and they put globs of honey all over the challah and then pass it, and his hands get sticky. pre-covid problems!

We usually use that too, but there's still honey on the challah when you pass it around.
