Of course cooking for shabbos, happens on Sunday. How else do we have shabbos food for supper, on Sunday, if it wasn't cooked then?

In my home brooms are used to build forts, hang up Helipornia's head.
In camp it was used to play limbo/nimbo
You can also use it to create stick dummies that reach the ceiling. ( as an extension upwards of your own body)
If you are a teacher you can use as a pointer, to the board, to a icons on a poster, to point for next girl to start reading, shoo someone out the door, demonstrate it as the letter "ן"in Hebrew.
As a rebbe you can use it to smack
So many different uses

Oh more uses for a broom
If you are a kid, you can poke your sib with it
If you are trying to grab something hi up, you can try to force it down, from up there with broom
If you are trying to reach something that fell into a tiny crevice like in back of an appliance, reach for that broom
If you are short on laundry drying space, just position it horizantally over two chairs & use as rod to hang clothes to dry.
You can use between your legs, as a jumping horse
