Can anyone recommend something that is appropriate to read on Yom Kippur that will help pass the time? I am late in my pregnancy and very nervous about fasting, so I am planning to basically stay in bed all day. I think if I have something good too read it will help pass the time and hopefully make it a bit easier. However as much as I know I should be reading something inspirational on YK, what I’d really love is a real page turner.. anything like that exist that won’t be completely inappropriate to read on YK?

Also pregnant and planning on staying in bed all day. I bought the new Rebbetzen Esther Jungreis biography, haven’t read it yet but I’ve heard it’s really good! In general I find biographies much more engaging than other books. I recently read Sori’s Story which is also really good.

Im planning to do whatever I need to get through the day. If it’s reading secular books so be it. Fasting is the main priority.
