Funny my kids consider a chulent good only if it's soupy!

I use the chulent mix and cook on high for an hour before turning down and adding seasonings and meat. It comes out great every time without adding barley or ketchup. Soak first.

Have you tried Jamie Geller's recipe? I leave out the kishore part and it's still yummy
