My child tested positive and is asymptomatic. He has been home these past 10 days (since Rosh hashana) as there was a breakout in the neighborhood then. He only tested positive yesterday. Do I need to quarantine for two weeks from yesterday or are we good on Sunday??? He is asymptomatic and everyone else in the house is negative. Any idea how to figure this out?
Also - how do we treat him? Isolate him Eventhough he doesn’t have symptoms??

Why did you test an asymptotic child who was quarantined?
Call your doctor. He’ll probably tell you to re do the test. It sounds like a false positive.

So if he really is positive then your whole family has to quarantine...not just him.
But I think you should repeat the test as it really doesn’t make much sense.
Speak to your doctor to confirm.
