Please let me know what the options are For 3 yr old preschool. They are recommending, ot for sensory issues, speech for significant speach delay, Play therapy.

Do you mean integrated co-teaching? I didn’t know that exists for 3 year olds. If you do mean ICT, and you want a yeshiva, Gesher is (imo) close to an ICT model. If you are okay with a non-yeshiva, you can look into Just Kids (formerly On Our Way). A lot of the staff there is frum. I don’t think any of the mainstream classes have ICT.

OT, speach and a specieal Ed teacher (but they said SEIT would be cheating her she needs more), and play therapy

Integrated co-teaching, or ICT, is a classroom that is a mix of students with and without learning challenges, with 1 special ed teacher and one 1 general education teacher. It’s a common set up in public schools, so if she has services from the state it would make sense that they would recommend that, except that I don’t know if it’s a thing for 3 year olds.

What did you mean when you said you were looking for an integrated classroom?

If they are saying that Seit is not enough, then gesher isn’t the right place. Sounds like she needs more of a special ed setting. Try just kids. They have a few dif level classes. There aren’t any special ed frum settings for that age unfortunately.

yes this is what they described a class with a teacher and a special ed teacher. When I said integrated I was referring to a class with kids that get services and kids that dont

they don’t want her in a special ed class either because she is “a smart girl” she just has obstacles that inhibit her sometimes. (Sensory, speach , etc) they suggested “ integrated”

Makes sense. I would look into Gesher. I don’t think any of the mainstream yeshivas have integrated classes, and Gesher is very close to that model.

I have a relative who sends her children who need services to HASC for preschool for a year or two and then switches them over to mainstream schools. They've done very well that way and are better prepared for regular school. Her kids aren't special needs and are bright as well. Maybe something to look into?

Look into Stepping Stone Preschool in Queens. I've heard great things about the program. My son was in an integrated class in HASC Woodmere and I was very happy.
