First day of Sukkos, war of Gog and Magog, part of the war is that the women will be raped. Yes obviously throughout history this is an act of war. Why do we specify it in the haftorah? So no woman in her right mind would choose to live in Yerushalayim? So the women have a reason to dread the coming of Mashiach? So women during all of history have to listen to this haftorah read yearly and be upset?

It is a negative nevuah so it doesn't have to come true.
What about Az Yashir - timla'eimo nafshi? We don't cancel Sisra's mother's one true cry, even though we knew what she was hoping for with the others.
Are you saying Chazal should have chosen another perek due to the delicacy, or that it shouldn't exist?
I wonder if anyone who does Nach Yomi (which predates this cycle) has done that Navi yet so you can further explore that perek.

We don't know how it will pan out, but no one ever said the Torah is censored. Aicha is pretty graphic and gory.

Don’t have an answer - but it bothered me too (and I had the same thought about living in Yerushalayim).
