How do you keep your face moisturized on Shabbos and Yom Tov?

My rav aid I can use liquid oil based moisturizer as long as it’s for regular moisturizing.
I use jojoba oil.

Thank you for your reply!
I also was told that oil is ok, but it does not work for me very well as my skin is oily as it is. Do you find that different oils feel differently on your skin?

Me too me too! Elf hydrating booster drops aren’t oily. I think there’s no oil in it altogether. It’s water based.

If your skin is oily, why do you need a moisturizer?

EEVVVEEERRYYYOOOONNNE on the planet 🌎 needs a moisturizer! Oily skin does not equal moisturized skin. In fact, oily skin usually indicates skin that is not properly moisturized. When you don’t moisturize, your skin goes “omg help” and produces its own oils as an attempt to save itself, thus resulting in oily skin.

My skin is pretty balanced. The oil absorbs quickly and evenly. I use it regularly - not just Shabbos.

Does the jojoba oil make your face shiny? Which company do you use?

I looked up the e.l.f. sunkissed. It seems to have some color (says wash hands well, may stain). I wonder if that's a problem on Shabbos.

I use any drugstore type moisturizer that comes in a pump bottle and is very runny/liquidy as per our family rav.

I bought all 3! Do you want me to mail them to u? The essential oils in them irritated my skin to the point that my skin turned red and scaly

Which ones are those, for example? I haven’t been able to find one that is as liquidy as oil, which is I’ve been told is ok.
