never heard of toiveling plastic at all only metal and glass,

We toivel plastic (I think it is a german minhag??). I use bottles with bags but I still toivel the nipple and the plastic piece that attaches it to the bottle. It is a pain when all the bottle nipples are lost and dirty or the sippy cups are disgusting and you can't use the new ones until you get to the mikvah.

Dh has Alsatian minhag (very close to German) and doesn't toivel plastic.

yep its a german minhag. and I told my dh that I will not follow. bc I would never have a plastic thing in my house.. bye the time he will toivel it the baby will be 20 yrs old.... lol.
