Hi, does anyone have experience with pandas?

My ds does this weird thing with his mouth, I wonder if this is a tic. It's like a blowing thing. It used to be without a sound just like a windy blow, Now it became a noisy blow like a /tsss/ sound. He constantly does it. Sometimes he can stop it but usually says he can't. Otherwise he's regular.
Can this be a pandas symptom? even if it's not it needs to get checked out, it's very annoying!
Who do I go to for this? Can my ped help me?

Yes it sounds like a tic, and yes it could be pandas, and yes, you should check it out. And even if your pediatrician blows you off you should keep digging because everything has a cause. In the meantime you could do an ibuprophen trial and see if it stops. Magnesium and NAC are also very helpful in stopping tics, as well as the otc cough medicine robitussin.
