Hebtook care of the camp year round.
It felt and looked like a sheidim hoiz. |
Kerhonkson?
The one that was further up after the annex? (I mean I haven’t been there in almost 20 years...)
We used to pretend daven shemona esrah 😳 there. Klapped al cheit, shukled etc... (why couldn’t we just daven faren zelben gelt?? Ah the youthful foolishness...)
I remember shlepping to a tchvuks a tchvekels bunk to take a shower because I had too many sad stories (muddy stuff, cold water...) in the public showers.
I wonder if any of you were my bunk mates- a group of girls got into the shower in shvimkleider. Oy did this cause a ruckus. And the time my bunk locked out the OD & mr kohn & mr herbst yelling to us to open the door. (It was a big fire hazard ps, & a few nights later was the Alta guest esszal, bakery & classrooms fire) ooh did we chap a crush’s after, and we all got strashed to get a call to our parents & I think we had to write them a letter? Details a bit fuzzy...

The summer of the food poisening from the soft serve ice cream.
The real dishes that was used until the summer of the food poisening. The smell of that milchige washroom where those dishes were kept

In my days they still used it, but only now and then. I think 10th grade programs used to be there. And the Mike office was there.
