I was a 2 year old, a teenager and a mother un the camp plays. Water was shut down and a huge tank came on the field...

My bunk built a swing in our bunkhouse and charged Tzedakah to go on it.

My friends and I carved rocks with our names on it. Wonder if it is still there...

Actually, I was a staff member for Mishkon (back when it was called Mishkon) and Sternberg was my place to take a breather with friends.

My bunk was in the DH hut one year. We swept the carpet with a broom. We had a mouse hole by one bed. Every day at breakfast we took one extra mini cereal box and put it in front of the hole that night. The mouse would eat through the cereal and go back in and never enter the bunkhouse.

I loved listening to Pia at shaleshudis, and Rabbi Greenwald's havdalah.

It was my first camp experience. He was old and senile. That camp shut down many years after he passed away.

They had an epic machanayim game against camp Fay-Gah every year so we picked up all their cheers.

I didn't go there but we used to see them on trips and they always cheered so loudly it stuck with me 20+ years later!

I remember color War being hated in camp. I remember schlepping mattresses out of the bunks one night to stage a protest...

Same camp (but I can't remember if it was the same year) broke out color War on "stage" (it was the paddleball court) at our camp production.
