Most of our camp was covered in carpet. Even the dining room walls!! I can still smell the awful stench!!

A six person bike overturned with girls on it. But the call for help got dispatched wrong. It went over as a vehicle crashing. The emergency response was enormous.
The girls were ok. I think a few girls broke bones.. but nothing major other than the entire grounds swarmed with emergency lights

In zoom flume a girl hit her head while going down in the 6 girl tube. She passed out for a very long while. It took very very long for Hatzlacha to come. (She was possibly still out when they arrived??)
In the end they let her come to camp and stay in the infirmary overnight.
She was in my bunk but I can’t remember her name.
Until today many many years later (I have kids older than I was then) I have a fear of rides especially water ones.

Another Sternberg girl here. It was and will always be my sunshine.

But I know the camp emuna bnos yaakov yehuda cheer too...I learned it at some point along my Sternberg journey. Maybe junior staff. I don’t know if the ones who taught it to me had any affiliation with chabad either.
