Strep aside, if you had COVID-19, how long did it take you to recover? |

amother [ Taupe ] wrote: | OP many of the covid symptoms that hang around are actually inflammation from the immune response. Anti inflammatories can be very helpful at this point. Melatonin, NAC, glutathione, magnesium, olive leaf extract, while food vitamin c can all be very helpful in taking down inflammation. B vitamins for energy, especially b1 which gets rapidly depleted during illness and that alone can be a cause of inflammation and dysregulation. Also, make sure you are getting enough electrolytes, especially potassium. |
Thanks, Taupe. From where does one get potassium?

From the day I got sick to the day I felt back to myself was about 10 days. I took alot of vitamin c and d and zinc and quercetin and glutathione and drank lots of bone broth. 4 of those days I was very sick with fever and couldn't take more than a few steps without needing to lie down. I had a lingering dry cough for a few extra days but I felt physically fine so I'm not counting that as recovery.
