It's been 2 months since my dd's wedding, and we are still waiting for the pictures.
Especially hard since some key family members could not be at the actual event.
I understand that even though it's digital, there is still cleanup work to be done on the photos.
But how long should we be waiting?

Ask the photographer. Most reputable ones have a timeline of when you should expect each stage of delivery.

We made a bar mitzvah in September, and had a USB with photos a couple of weeks later.

Bear in mind that there was three weeks of yom tov in between, if you used a Jewish photographer

In general it should be discussed when you hire the photographer. Most have a specific turn around time. For weddings 2-3 months can be normal if they are fully booked.
