I made roasted sliced zuchini for supper last night... and I completely forgot about it Sad
I just preheated the oven to bake and guess what I found....

They've been in there since 7pm last night, and I reheated them at 2:30 today.
Would you eat?

Ewww, nope. Toss it and start over.

I've done that on Shabbos, left food out from dinner, and found it sitting on the plata or on the counter in the morning. Even if it looks fine, if you touch it you'll discover that it's a bit slimy, and that's a layer of bacteria growing on it.

Better safe than sorry.

If it means anything, DH would eat it. It can be left out half a day. Just heat it up again and fry the bacterial and enjoy. That’s his motto. To his credit, he’s never gotten sick from any of the stuff he does this with.

Toss it. Zucchini is not super hard to prep or super expensive. Definitely not worth a risk.
