This is dd's first post! Welcome, dd!
When you start a new topic, first go to the subject it fits best, and then click "new topic." You were probably reading something in Entertainment when you started your topic, so here it is. A mod can move it, I think...
And to answer your question, for me personally, no, after 15 years of covering my hair I don't see any difference.

as a kalla I was taught to make a pincurl with crossed bobby pins with the top strands of my hair (maybe it was b4 side combs) to anchor my sheitel better. Well, everytime I took off my sheitel a few strands came with it, so yea, the front top of my head is barer (don't want to say I have a bald spot) or a bit receded.

my sheitels have 3 snap clips each (sides and top), and my hair has definitely thinned out on the sides where the clips are. oh well, I guess thats just part of it.

I also have 3 combs but the hair is only thinner on the tip cus it pulls more on top than on the sides. But I started with thin hair so now its thinner!
