Keym, I understand why you would be horrified that moms would choose to send their kids out, if they have a choice, but realize that you are looking through a magnifying glass painted by your own past experiences

This might be another thing for some people that is what is is. It may not be as dire as a severe illness, but it definitely is a small-scale recuperation post surgery.
This conversation isn't really progressing, and I think there isn't much more I have to add.

So when mom goes to kimp heim, where should the two yr old go/be? If she was always home with mom, dad is at work or kollel, older kids are in school?

It absolutely is getting tiring. I just hope that some moms reading this thread will realize that something they thought was "par for the course" is not.
