I was making babka when I saw the pigs in a blanket with challah dough thread.
It got me wondering. I want to make lots of different baked items when preparing enough dough for hafrasha and I only need 2 or 4 challahs.
What do you suggest I make?
I'll start
Babka, filling recipe on imamother
Challah dogs
Garlic knots
Burger and hot dog buns, just shape n bake
Cinnamon buns?

Roll it out thin like a pie crust.
In the center, put some cranberry sauce or berry preserves. Top it with a wheel of brie or camembert. (Use whole cranberry sauce, not the jelly type. It's the best!)
Wrap the dough around the brie and cranberries, pinching to seal all the edges.
Flip it seam side down on a pie pan. Cut a couple of vents in the top, and let it rise about halfway.
Bake, cool slightly, and then serve. You'll have gooey cheese running out of the center, to eat with the hot bread, and just a touch of sweetness. YUM!
Add a green salad with a simple vinaigrette dressing for a perfect dinner. Serve with a dry white wine, like a chardonnay or riesling.
