Spinoff (kind of) from a thread about detecting amothers' writing styles. Post about something neutral on this thread, and try not to drop any hints about your identity. Try commenting on the weather, paint color names, or the optimal pricing structure for bus passes. If you are sure that you can identify someone, you can then post about it.
(A similar game was once played here, but this is a little different.)

I always wondered if it’s really possible to figure things out from the way people write.
I’m not so detail oriented so I would never realize something like that, but people here keep saying that they can identify amothers.
Is this long enough or maybe I don’t have a specific style?

Sometimes it's the writing style COMBINED with the info presented in the post which makes it obvious. An anonymous poster writing about being a BT, or not having a mother plus the ages of her kids, for example, or location plus occupation, would make me guess who it is.

Hi everyone.
I usually don't post under amother, unless it's something very private. I usually do not recognize others when amother, yet last week I think I might've recognized someone as her type of comment was too similar to someone who usually posts sucha response under her sn.
Have fun guessing me. Should be pretty easy I think.

The saga of the Federalist papers is an interesting historical example of this question. The papers were a series of essays defending the Constitution, written by Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, and James Madison under a joint pseudonym. Using modern techniques, researchers believe they've identified the writers of the essays whose authorship were in dispute.
I recently read a book on the topic called Nabokov's Favorite Word Is Mauve: What the Numbers Reveal About the Classics, Bestsellers, and Our Own Writing.

I'll play!
I'm going to do my best to make this easy, because I'm really curious.
Today, I noticed 3 things around my house:
1. I have collected a ton of pencils in one place (a pencil box near where I work at home). Time to redistribute where needed.
2. I have to run the cleaning cycle on the dairy oven. Again. It's too old to take so much abuse.
3. DS is not adhering to the homework schedule he set for himself. How much will I intervene, and how much leave to natural consequences?

Love this:)
I don’t usually spend the time to try and figure out who is being amother.
I do sometimes wish amothers would post with their screen names. It’s more interesting and personal.
It also allows me to get to know more “ppl”.
