I am looking to buy perfume.
I'd like a fresh, feminine scent that is not sickly sweet or overpowering.
Any ideas?

I love Ralph by Ralph Lauren

It's not overpowering

It's a pleasant, sweet, mild, and youthful scent

I own and love the first two!
But, I cannot stand light blue.

I used to like Light Blue. But, it became so ubiquitous, almost everyone around me (coworkers, clients, relatives) were wearing it, that I couldn't stand the scent anymore. It was too much of a good thing.

Lately I really like, Flower Bomb by Viktor & Rolf. It is exactly that - a fresh, feminine scent that is not sickly sweet or overpowering.

I also like Miss Dior, (pink, don't remember which scent it is) and Chance Chanel, pink round bottle.

I really liked Flowerbomb, but DH couldn’t stand it. After a few mismatches like this I realized that I really like perfumes with patchouli, and he can’t stand it. It must be a strong scent, because he smells it in every one.

OP, here is a good idea if you’re looking for a new perfume. This set comes with 8 deluxe samples, plus a certificate for a full size of whichever one you prefer. Some nice clean scents in here.

Jo Malone Wild Bluebell

Whichever fragrance you decide to try, I recommend first purchasing small sample sizes (easily found on eBay ) so you can see how it works for you before making a pricier purchase.

I'm actually wearing Jo Malone poppy right now- I got it free from Nordstrom with a recent beauty purchase. I thought I loved poppy but now I'm thinking it's not *the one.* Wild Bluebell didn't do it for me either, but I can see why you suggested it.

Jo Malone Poppy is very musky. Try Versace Woman.

Can you list your fave perfumes so I can get an idea of what scents you like?
