If they come to your house or you go to their house for a one on one session a few times a week ?
How much would you tip them if so?

No tip. Unless they bringing equipment with them.
$5/ session.

No. Never heard of tipping personal trainers. If they bring equipment/come to the house they charge more to begin with. Have had in home trainers when kids were babies and have gone to trainers when they were in school.

Nah, the price is already $$$$. I tip my nail technicians, my waitresses, kids counselors, but never heard of tipping fitness trainers. Maybe a chanukah gift.

Tips go to people who are paid a small hourly wage and it is expected that the tip is to round out their salary.
Do you tip your accountant, lawyer, therapist?
I wouldn't give any of these a Chanukah present either.

Personal trainers are not tipped. FWIW, people who run their own business and set their own rates are not generally tipped - I.e. the owner of a salon isn't tipped but someone who works in the salon is tipped.
However most people do give their trainers a holiday present just as most people give the woman who does their hair who owns it a holiday present - assuming there is a long term relationship.
