So our theme is carrots for our sholoch monos....

I have all the items bought and ready to be put together (still have to bake the actual carrot kugels...) BUT I don't have the tag line to go on the card that will tie carrots with purim.

carrots in hebrew: gezer. (gzar din)

but how do we use that in a cute way and have a one liner to go on the card???

any brainstorms????

I like Crayon's line. Maybe you can also come up with a play on carrot in Yiddish (mehren).

Would it be possible to tie the gzar din in with the fact that purim is higher than yom kipur?

This is totally a different angle, but carrot could be something along the lines are of "a donkey following the carrot"... haman leading mordechai on a horse... I don't know, just some imagery that could connect with the purim story.

I AM actually baking 24 carrot kugels.... I made 12 this morning, and plan on making the other 12 next week.

our sh.monos will have:

-a nice size carrot kugel

-3 different carrot shaped containers, each one with a diff. kind of orange candy in it

-individual (small) bag of fresh peeled baby carrots

a couple sh.monos' (families with lots of kids) will also get carrot jump ropes. (a jump rope with carrots in place of the standard bar where you grasp the jump rope)
