The 0-3 months ones didn't fit my older child until 2 months, and he had a big head! My second didn't fit in them until almost 6 months!

Do a search on ali. I gave many people the pompom hat for a baby gift. It is a really nice velour. I would say it fits 8-15 pound baby nicely. For smaller baby, you could fold over hat a bit. Their cotton is really nice too.

My kids also didn't fit into the 0-3 month hats until they were a few months old. I got hospital hats from The Gift Baby, they fit perfectly on a newborn.

I got a $40 3M hat by Jacadi online (I don't usually buy expensive things, got a snowsuit as a hand- me- down and I felt this was the perfect hat to freshen it up). Baby was born 8 pounds and hat doesn't fit Sad
