I'm getting so much enjoyment from the "To Bunny or Not to Bunny" thread today, and it made me think that with the election, Covid, and the barely-controlled mayhem that characterizes most of our lives, we could all do with some cute animal photos.

After all, that is the primary purpose of the Internet.

These animals don't have to be potential pets. They can even be dangerous animals that just happen to appear endearing in a photo. So show us the cute animal pictures that have made you smile!

I'll start -- with a fox, of course. Interesting trivia: baby foxes can properly be called cubs, pups, or kits.

Since I call some of my boys Curious George I’ll do some monkey facts.

Apes are not monkeys.

There are around 260 monkey species in the world.

Baby monkeys are referred to as infants.

Never heard that baby monkeys are called infants. Cool! Though this one does bear a certain resemblance to one of my kids as a newborn.

We once had a Shabbos guest who insisted on informing us that curious George couldn't be a monkey cuz he didn't have a tail and all monkeys have tails. Then he spun a gruesome version for my kids where George's curiosity led to his tail being chopped off just so he could be a monkey after all... I think we're all still traumatized...

Cats can become pregnant from more than one male (in the same pregnancy). So the kittens from one litter could be half-siblings - same mother, different fathers.

All the animals I like or find cute are deep fried or grilled.
My tacos tonight were adorable.

These goats were born to one of my son’s goats. My two year old loved holding them like a stuffed teddy bear.

In our house we love porcupines. Especially the cute videos of them eating watermelon or other fruit.
