Someone in the family has Covid 19 and keeping kids home for 2 weeks. My husband wants to test 4 yr old after 2 weeks before going back to school. School is in safe zone. She did not have it. She hates doctors. What would you do?

A four year old is very likely to have an asymptomatic case, if they get it.

What will be the purpose of testing after two weeks? Testing after one week will give a more accurate idea of whether she has it or not. Then you could follow your countries protocols on when she can go back to school.

To make sure she isn't sick before sending her back to school.

If the school doesn’t require it I wouldn’t test.

I think he is right. It is very possible that the 4 year old caught it a week later, has no symptoms, but can spread it in school.
I am in the same situation now. We tested everyone in the family 5 days after 1 person tested positive. My little one tested positive with no symptoms. There is no way for me to separate from her, so I caught it a few days later.
I wouldn't have waited 2 weeks to test though. Now if she is positive she will have to isolate another 10 days.

If you are in NY the nyc testing sites don't go all the way up the nose. My kids were terrified and they agreed it did not hurt.

The best thing to do is ask your doctor. If she has had it you could get a positive test for up to 90 days after.
If she is quarantined 14 days then she should be good to go back to school with no test.
DOH says that an asymptotic person quarantines 10 days from the positive test so if you want to test her now would be the time. But you also could just say home for the 2 weeks.
