No No I don’t mean for a custom suit- for regular alterations. If he buys a suit in a department store- needs shatnez removed, pants tailored etc.
He had a wonderful tailor in Brooklyn but needs something closer...

Most of the men’s suit stores here have their own tailor.
Other alterations for men are done at many of the dry cleaners. The cleaners on Kennedy blvd next to the gas station across from glatt bite seems to be popular. Of course there are many other places too.
I have never heard of a male tailor doing private alterations. It’s a good idea though.
