My daughter applied to a camp that has a reputation as difficult to get into. She's hoping for the best.
In the meantime, to we figured we'd apply to a second choice. But all the campus require $500 deposits that they cash on acceptance. How can anyone afford to apply to more than one camp?
We're going to have a hard enough time paying for camp altogether.

If it's an agudah camp, it's only charged upon acceptance and you have 24 hours to deny the acceptance. After that until a certain date, they'll refund it minus $75

The first choice is an Aguda camp, but the second choice isn't. How do I know if they have the same policy?

You can call. Most camps don't take that full amount if you decide not to go.
