Thinking of ordering these for grandkids, just wanted to check if anyone find any hashkafic or tznius issues (and if so, were they easy to remove?)?

I never bought Ticket to Ride, but what kind of hashkafic issues would Catan have? The game can get a bit competitive, but many board games do.

Catan: on the box there’s a picture of a woman talking to two men in a field - not sure if anyone else is depicted nearby, so a potential yichud problem right there...
Amazing game, though.

Ticket to Ride is SQUEAKY clean. Excellent game.
Catan I see no hashkafic issues but depending on personalities it can get somewhat cutthroat, very competitive. If heated competition bothers you, consider a game like Pandemic instead - it's cooperative, everyone works as a team against "the game."

Part of the competitive part is the robber/knight, but I've heard of families that take resources from the card pile instead of from another player, and some people don't move the robber at all.
Also, if you buy the extension, it can be used even for fewer players so that they have more space and aren't in each other's settlements.

Two men and one woman isn't a yichud problem, only the other way around 2 women and 1 man, so feel free to buy it with no compunctions.

I always thought it was the opposite....
2 men one lady not ok.

I don't know, the trains sometime go under a tunnel (or station) sounds a little phalic to me🙄.
And Catan has sheep-do you really want to go there?????

We call settlers of Catan "Settlers of Satan" here. It brings out the competitive Type A ness of my kids. I no longer let my kids play it when I'm trying to nap on Shabbos afternoon lol

Nope. 2 men, one woman = okay during the day as long as the men are not prutzim. 2 women, one man = not okay.
OP, we have "kosherized" many games that have tznius issues. Neither of these have any. Great games.

I know a mother who plays Catan without the robber, as she says it's not educational. There are always problems if you look hard enough.
