Every winter I dream of a specific soup I used to buy.
Remember the store Taam Eden on 13th and 50th (where spoons is today)?
They used to make a cabbage soup that was heavenly. It was tomato based, sweet and sour, and had small dumplings in it.
I have tried to replicate it and tried dozens of sweet and sour cabbage soup recipes, but to no avail. If anyone has any leads, please help me out.
Please do not post random cabbage soup recipes. I have tried many already. Please do post if you tasted theirs once upon a time ago and know the taste I am referring to, or if you or someone you know were their cook and can magically give me their recipe to try!
