Hi wondering what kind of jobs, if any are there for women in a boys overnight camp? I’d love to work in an overnight camp, specifically boys as I have more sons then daughters....
I’ve worked for many years in a boys camp. But the majority of the jobs are men. The nurse and camp mother and sometimes the cook were women, otherwise the less full time jobs such as office were typically wives of someone who had a more full time job like division head’s wife, head lifeguards wife. It’s kind of hard to come by...
My dad is a camp director at a boys camp for about 30 years now kh so we were there every summer. Jobs for ladies are basically only the camp mother, nurse, office staff, daycamp for the little kids. Their husbands have jobs in camp as well.
