He probably wont even be liable for her injuries since they just mandated wearing seatbelts in the back seat, even in a taxi.
She was not wearing a seatbelt.

Looks like our tfillos did a lot, she started moving around more. The doctors are very hopeful! There is still more tfillos needed!

If I had an Uber driver show up in a car like that, I would have cancelled and called Lyft or gotten a taxi. Heck, even the subway in the middle of the night would look safer to me.
