this was a very interesting read
I never heard of the lilit and adam and that whole story
but I did hear of lilit being the wife of ashmedai the king of the sheidim
never heard about the baby thing either- there are many superstitions and not all of them are sourced from judaism-
about the knife- I once had a baby who would cry a lot while asleep and my father told me to put a blade under his mattress- even a plastic knife- doesnt matter and also one of these shemira cards. (my very litvish husband got a nice kick out of it)
