This is a spinoff of the large family post.

What do you serve on a school morning? Do your kids eat at home or take it to go?

At home.
I make them wash for bread. What to put on top of it is their choice. No pots happening in the morning. Hope they won’t be damaged material. I’d love to be a sunny side up and warm oatmeal for breakfast type of mom. But I’m not! Very Happy

My 5 year old takes a cereal bar and eats it on the bus. My 4, 3 and 2s eat cereal and milk every morning, they won't eat anything else

I used to do cereal - it is just too expensive and messy. Now I do french toast with my betty crocker pizza maker. So easy and quick and no clean up. I keep it on my counter so it does look a bit messy, but breakfast is a breeze and way cheaper and less messy. If the kids want me to change it up I'd fry an egg or do grilled cheese in the pizza maker.

I also found that my kids can eat bowl after bowl of cereal and still look around for food. With french toast I know that they are going to be totally full.

I'll sometimes do oatmeal with cut up strawberries but I find that a bit more time consuming for some reason.

Oatmeal
Cream of wheat with vegetable sausage patties mixed in, with Craisins, too
Pancakes/waffles
Scrambled eggs

Daughter's favorite - macaroni
Different daughter's favorite - leftover pizza (but we wash on even one slice, so this is challenging!)

On a bad (late) day, yogurt

Once in a while, cold cereal

On Friday the 13th, ice cream! (tradition my best friend from grade school and I made up!)
(plus healthy food)

In theory, they eat at the table, but probably at least one day a week they take it on the run!

One of them asks for cereal and milk the second she wakes (even if she wakes in middle of the night).

On weekdays, besides cereal, I offer
Oatmeal
Buttered toast
Grilled cheese (in a sandwich maker
Yogurt

On Sunday, we are more relaxed and I have time for eggs or pancakes. I’ll sometimes make them during the week if we have enough time.

Choices are:
A cream cheese (or PB) Sandwich
Cold Cereal (With or without milk)
Instant oatmeal
Yogurt
Cheese
Fruit.

Kids can choose multiple options if they really want. I find everyone gravitates towards the same thing each day for a while till they get sick and switch to someone else's breakfast choices.
