Yehoshua November's poetry is fantastic. I believe some of his poetry was even published in secular publications.

Here's a link to some examples: https://www.yehoshuanovember.c.....ideos

November was my professor in college! He taught me so much.
The link to the Cleaning Zeide's Apartment poem doesn't work. Anywhere else I can find it?

Roberta Chester is great. Sarah Rosenblatt/Ruth Lewis wrote a book called Memo to Self that I Heart very much. If you can find the Our Lives series published by Targum several years ago there is a lot of poetry there.

The link on his site used " _ " instead of " - ". This is the correct link https://thesunmagazine.org/iss.....tment

He was actually my prof too - for comp II and for creative writing! Smile

Yes! The poems in the Our Lives anthologies, by sara Shapiro are breathtaking.

Thanks for linking November's poems. I've never heard of him before. His work is brilliant.

I've been trying to track down Ruth Lewis's book for a while now. It's out of print, and I couldn't find it anywhere.

Do you know where it's available?

You are incredibly talented. The raw truth of your experience, expressed so beautifully...

I love what you did with the chanukah theme in a variety of forms. Can I use some in my classroom?
