How do I motivate myself to set limits on food? I just plain enjoy it!
Frozen sweet cherries... onion garlic potato chips... birthday cake... pistachio halva... salted caramel cashewmilk ice cream... plump moist dates...
All of those are things I ate tonight (in addition to delicious shepherd's pie for supper). And I wish I could say I regret it, but they were all delicious! And I even want more!
But if I eat this way, I'm not sure I'm being so nice to my body.
Still, especially after a stressful day I love treating myself.
In the past I've tried saving treats for Shabbos. That worked partially, but then there wasn't always time on Shabbos to eat what I wanted and that makes me grumpy!
I also was doing intermittent fasting for a while, so I had to stop eating earlier at night, and that worked somewhat.
But now I can't seem to find any motivation to not eat all the yummy food Hashem made for me!
Any brilliant ideas?

The only brilliant ideas are the ones you've given me for MY next snack-attack! It all sounds delicious!

Are you overweight? Some of your choices like the frozen cherries sound healthy and delicious.
